San Antonio Military Medical Center

San Antonio Military Medical Center consists of a 764,000-square-foot medical tower, 358,000 square feet of renovated space at Brooke Army Medical Center, and a central energy plant. It includes a 1.7 million-square-foot, 5,000-space parking structure. The consolidated tower projects include 425 inpatient beds (including 116 intensive care unit beds); 32 operating rooms; medical, pediatric, and surgical specialty clinics; a bone marrow and organ transplant unit; cardiovascular, maternal-child, and battlefield health and trauma centers of excellence; and the US Army Institute of Surgical Research Burn Center.
